My Digital Studio Wednesday - Fun with Film Strips

Hello there! Yes, I have temporarily moved My Digital Studio Monday to Wednesday! Just keeping you on your toes!! Seriously though, I found two wonderful digital challenges that I wanted to participate in and did not get my project done in time to post on Monday and I don't want to wait until next Monday!

I found this fun layout over at MDS Monday (no, I did not know about this challenge when I came up with my own My Digital Studio Monday!) and had such fun playing along! Also, over at the Simply My Digital Studio Challenge Facebook group, week 66 challenge was to use cameras, polaroids, and filmstrips...perfect! You can find the video to go along with the challenge here.

I learned a lot with this challenge! I learned how to put five separate film strips together to create one long strip as well as how to insert photo boxes into each one so I could add individual pictures (this is harder than it sounds). Grouping items together is awesome but can be a bit tricky for my tech challenged self!

Ever wonder how to get items all lined up and pretty? There is an 'align' tool in MDS! You simply select the items and choose which way to align them (horizontally, vertically, align to bottom or top) and the program does it for you! Pretty neat!

Do you have memories hiding in a shoebox? Or lurking on your cell phone? Did you know you can purchase a trial version of My Digital Studio? And that the complete version is only $19.95? There's no shipping and handling on downloads and many of the papers, stamps, and embellishments can be altered to meet your needs...it so versatile! There are also many premade templates available...all you have to do is drop your photos in and go. Add some journaling and you have saved not just a moment but the memory that goes with it for those you love and those to come.

Thanks for stopping by!
