Yesterday I was fortunate enough to spend the afternoon stamping with a few fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators. All of us are in Mary Fish's downline and together we are all members of the Stampin' Pretty Pals :) We are are virtually community brought together by our passion for Stampin' Up! as well as all things creative. Here is a picture of Mary Fish with Tricia Chuba and Linda Foster hanging out at the beach in San Diego the night before our event:
Linda was able to reserve the rec room in her housing complex for our event...it was a beautiful place to hang out, stamp and visit with fellow Pals. We can connect in a more personal way and share our individual styles and techniques with each other...so fun!
Here, (left to right) Susan Lankford, Karen Wilkinson and Patti MacLeith pay close attention as Peggy Noe demonstrates how to make vintage flowers for her beautiful card:
Such a fun technique! Darling Peggy also brought along this adorably decorated treat box filled with See's Candies (yum!):
Patti MacLeith brought a delightful Sticky Note Holder for each of us:
Here's a peek at the inside, so cute!!
and Karen Wilkinson shared her adorable treat (tea) holder with each of us:
Here, Linda Foster is sharing her inspiration for her amazing cards with Jessica Ying, Peggy Noe and myself:
And when I say amazing, I mean AMAZING!!:
Right?!?! This card features product from the upcoming holiday catalog; the Wonderful Wreath Framelit Dies, the stamp set Endless Wishes, and a delightful new assortment of Frosted Sequins. Here's a closer look:
And here's her second AMAZING card:
This card features stamps from the Wonderous Wreath stamp set from the upcoming holiday catalog as well as more sentiments from the Endless Wishes stamp set. The Wonderous Wreath stamp set coordinates with the Wonderful Wreath Framelit Dies and is a layering stamp set, a three set process that is sooo much fun and makes a beautiful card!
And here are Donna Kopenski and Shelby Long taking a refreshment break after Dona's great demonstration of how to create her notepad cover:
and a peek at the inside:
How fun, right? Can you see on the inside left cover that there is a pocket to stash extra papers? What a great idea!
It was a day loaded with inspiration and fun, so much that we continued the affair with an after party at a local restaurant...stamping is hard work!! lol
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!
