2-Step Stamping with Blackberry Bliss - RS#118

Isn't Blackberry bliss a YUMMY color! Yep, I think so too. Today's card is based on a sketch I found over at Retro Sketches and I chose it because it allowed me to showcase more new beautiful Designer Series Paper!

The papers I've used here are from the Park Lane DSP and are flip images, the chevron pattern on one side and the floral pattern on the reverse. I love all the bright colors in the chevron pattern. Blackberry Bliss, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral. I pulled out the Old Olive to use on my card and left the Daffodil Delight and the Calypso Coral be bright accents.

The stamping was done with the Too Kind Stamp Set. It has images that allow what is called '2-Step Stamping'. The lighter color for the flower base and then a darker color as a accent. For my card I used Blackberry Bliss for both images, simply 'stamping off' with the first image and then using the ink at full strength for the second image. I think it provides a nice depth of color.

Thank you for stopping by today, please let me know what you think of this new Blackberry Bliss color!
