Today I am sharing a simple thank you card for all of the countless Americans who have fought and died defending our beliefs and way of life. It's a simple thank you because I do not have words to adequately express my gratitude.
I used a long retired Stampin' Up! stamp set called The Free & The Brave and the sentiment is from a current set Lots of Thanks.
I will use this set in the future to make hero cards for Operation Write Home. It's an organization that gathers hand made greeting cards from across America and then redistributes them to our service members stationed all over the world for them to use to send greetings home to their family and friends. Hero cards are cards that we fill out ahead of time with personal notes, thanking our service members for their service and they in turn are distributed to those who may not have much mail coming from home. What a wonderful gesture to those who give up so much to keep us safe.
