Shades of Blue - CTS#72

Shades of Blue - CTS#72

Hello there! I was away at a Stampin' Up! retreat this weekend and learned so much! Not just from the presentations (which were fantastic) but also from the other demonstrators who attended. And of course, I truly enjoyed the bonding times with other Pals! Now it's time to make a plan and put some things into action!

This simple card was inspired by the CAS(E) this Sketch! Challenge and a wonderful ombre color combination by fellow Pal Kerry Willard Bray over at Peonies and Paper Chains:

I wanted a full row of each color so I modified the sketch so I could have four rows of the graduated colors. I used Core-dinations cardstock to include texture and then sanded the smaller blossoms to help them pop of the bottom layer just a bit. I used Candy Dots for the flowers' centers, starting with Whisper White and then working down the colors so that just the sentiment would be wholly Night of Navy.

The hardest part was lining them up!

I would love to hear what you think of my project today :)

Thank so much for stopping by!
